- Against The Grain – This is a brewery that also has food, The location on 400 E main St. is my favorite but they also have a location on Bardstown rd. that also does live comedy every Thursday night as well!
- Louie’s Hot Chicken And Barbecue – This is right by the Camp Taylor neighborhood off of the Poplar Level rd exit off of I-264, Hands down my favorite chicken sandwich and arguably the best pulled pork sandwich around the city
- Seafood Lady – local seafood restaurant that is located in NULU and is some of the best seafood in the city if not the best and it is also a locally owned as well! 10/10 recommend.
- Naive – if you’re looking for a local organic healthy farmer to table food this is going to be the choice for you and they have some of the best mocktails and Cocktails in the city, they are a bit pricy but worth it.

If you’re looking for a good time in Louisville, I’ve got you covered. First stop? The Old 502 Winery. This place has got a wine list that’s as wild as it is wide. Grab a glass and chill, this winery is in NULU and you could stop by there after hitting up one of many restaurants in the area.
Then, you got to check out the Old Forester Distillery. It’s like stepping back in time and sipping on a bit of history. The smell, the taste, the vibe – it’s all a bourbon lover’s dream, They opened up downtown in the original location they had! The tour is amazing! We recommend booking in advance.
